The Short Version

Who We Are

BabyPolar (“we,” “us”) publishes free cold-weather baby-care tools and guides at babypolar.com. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you use the site. It applies to every visitor, wherever you are.

What the Calculators Never Send

Every tool here — the baby layering guide, the winter car-seat safety checker, the nursery temperature and TOG guide, the snowsuit size calculator, the sleep-sack TOG calculator, and the outdoor time-limit calculator — does its arithmetic in your device’s browser. The figures you enter, such as an outdoor temperature, a room reading, a wind speed, or your baby’s age, height, and weight, are used to show you a result and are not transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or linked to you in any way.

What We Do Keep

Email you choose to give us. If you subscribe to our updates or write to us, we store the email address and message so we can reply or send what you asked for. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Basic server logs. Like most sites, our host records standard technical data — browser type, referring page, and a shortened IP address — to keep the site running and secure. These logs are rotated and are not used to identify you personally.

Cookies & Advertising

BabyPolar is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, and Google and its partners may set cookies to measure and personalise the ads you see. You can review and turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at Google’s partner-sites notice. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides are useful; see our Cookie Policy for the full picture.

Your Choices

You can browse without an account, decline non-essential cookies through your browser or the ad-settings link above, and ask us to show, correct, or delete any email you have shared. To do so, email support@babypolar.com.

Children

BabyPolar is written for parents and carers, not for children, and is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, let us know and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
